149 Offence to obstruct or hinder (1) A person must not obstruct or hinder an authorised officer in the exercise of the authorised officer's powers under this Act. 1. 240 penalty units. (2) A person is not guilty of an offence under subsection (1) if the authorised officer exercising a power under this Act— (a) failed to produce his or her identity card in accordance with section 146(3); or (b) failed to warn the person of the effect of subsection (1).
