128A Power to give written direction to persons to produce documents or answer questions (1) The Chief Quality and Safety Officer, or an authorised quality and safety officer at the direction of the Chief Quality and Safety Officer, may give the following persons a written direction at any time for the purpose of conducting a quality and safety review— (a) a member of staff of a health service entity; (b) a person who provides health services from the health service entity. (2) A written direction referred to in subsection (1) may direct a person— (a) to produce a document or part of a document that is in the possession or control of the person; or (b) to answer any questions asked by the Chief Quality and Safety Officer or authorised quality and safety officer.
