123 Production of identity card (1) Subject to subsection (3), an authorised quality and safety officer must produce the officer's identity card for inspection before exercising a power under this Act or the regulations. (2) Subject to subsection (3), an authorised quality and safety officer must produce the officer's identity card for inspection when asked to do so by the occupier of any premises during the exercise of a power under this Act or the regulations. (3) However, if it is impracticable for an authorised quality and safety officer to produce the officer's identity card for inspection when exercising a power under this Act or the regulations, the authorised quality and safety officer is not required to do so.
