14A Royal Commissions etc. (1) Nothing in this Act or in any HPP applies in respect of the collection, holding, management, use, disclosure or transfer of health information by a Royal Commission, a Board of Inquiry or a Formal Review for the purposes of, or in connection with, the performance of its functions. (2) In this section— ***Board of Inquiry*** has the same meaning as in the **Inquiries Act 2014**; ***Formal Review*** has the same meaning as in the **Inquiries Act 2014**; ***Royal Commission*** means— (a) a Royal Commission established under the **Inquiries Act 2014**; or (b) a Royal Commission established under the prerogative of the Crown.
