5 When proceedings under this Act begin and end

(1)  [Section 5 Subsection (1) amended by No. 18 of 2021, s. 182, Applied:05 Nov 2021] For the purposes of this Act and the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2020 , proceedings in relation to a matter are to be taken to begin when an application in relation to the matter is lodged with the Tribunal under section 21 .

(2)  [Section 5 Subsection (2) amended by No. 18 of 2021, s. 182, Applied:05 Nov 2021] For the purposes of this Act and the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2020 , proceedings in relation to a matter are to be taken to have concluded when the Tribunal has given the parties to the proceedings its final orders in relation to the matter.
