Subdivision 3—General Manager and staff 33—General Manager and staff (1) There will be a General Manager of the Authority. (2) The General Manager will be appointed by the Authority on terms and conditions determined by the Authority. (3) There will be such other staff of the Authority as the Authority thinks necessary for the proper performance of its functions. (4) A member of the staff of the Authority is not, as such, a member of the Public Service, but the Authority may employ a person who is on leave from employment in the Public Service or with an instrumentality or agency of the Crown. (5) The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister administering an administrative unit of the Public Service, make use of the services, facilities or officers of that unit.
