sec.308 Investigations
This section applies if— immediately before the commencement, the former commission was investigating a matter under the repealed HQCC Act , chapter 7 ; and the health ombudsman decides to continue the investigation under part 8 of this Act. Without limiting section 295(2), an authorised person may exercise powers under part 15 for the purpose of the investigation. (sec.308-ssec.1) This section applies if— immediately before the commencement, the former commission was investigating a matter under the repealed HQCC Act , chapter 7 ; and the health ombudsman decides to continue the investigation under part 8 of this Act. (sec.308-ssec.2) Without limiting section 295(2), an authorised person may exercise powers under part 15 for the purpose of the investigation.
- (a) immediately before the commencement, the former commission was investigating a matter under the repealed HQCC Act , chapter 7 ; and
- (b) the health ombudsman decides to continue the investigation under part 8 of this Act.
