#### 65 Approved billing agents—application requirements and fee (1) For the purposes of paragraph 20AB(2)(a) of the Act, an application for approval as a billing agent must be in the form approved by the Chief Executive Medicare. (2) For the purposes of paragraph 20AB(2)(b) of the Act, the fee to accompany an application is: (a) if the applicant has not previously been approved as a billing agent—$1,000; or (b) if the applicant has previously been approved—$500.
