6 Completion of course of study

(1) This section applies to: (a) a person who is a bonded participant for the purposes of subsection 124ZE(1) of the Act; or (b) a person who: (i) is a bonded participant for the purposes of subsection 124ZE(2) of the Act; and (ii) at the time of opting in to the Bonded Medical Program, was completing their course of study in medicine. (2) For the purposes of paragraph 124ZG(1)(a) of the Act, the bonded participant must complete their course of study in medicine at an Australian university within the period of time prescribed by the university.
