5 Medicare principles and commitments

[Section 5 Amended by No. 13 of 2019, Sched. 1, Applied:18 Jun 2019] The Minister is to ensure that in providing public hospital services on behalf of the State to eligible persons –

(a) the Medicare principles are given effect to; and

(b) the Medicare commitments are undertaken –

in accordance with any requirements under the Federal Financial Relations Act 2009 of the Commonwealth.
