Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in the Act, including the following:
(a) Basel Convention;
(b) Basel export permit;
(c) competent authority;
(d) foreign country;
(e) relevant person.
In this instrument:
Act means the Hazardous Waste (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1989.
