Tasmania regulation
This notice lists which state and territory guardianship, administration and advance-care laws count as “corresponding laws” under section 81 of the Guardianship and Administration Act 1995, so orders and enduring instruments can be recognised across jurisdictions (s3). It starts when notified in the Gazette (s2) and revokes the 2011 notice (s4; Schedule 1). It affects guardians, administrators, medical treatment decision-makers, tribunals and people holding interstate enduring documents and may lower the need to re‑register instruments between jurisdictions (s3). Administered by the Department of Justice.
