Tasmania regulation
These regulations bring specified amendments into the Guardianship and Administration Regulations 2017, take effect when the Guardianship and Administration Amendment Act 2023 commences (reg 2), and identify the 2017 rules as the Principal Regulations (reg 3). They mainly incorporate those amendments into the authorised consolidated text (regs 4–9) rather than setting out new policy. Practical effects fall on guardians, administrators and the Department of Justice; administrative costs are borne by government and compliance follows from the amended 2017 regulations.

These regulations may be cited as the Guardianship and Administration Amendment Regulations 2024 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Guardianship and Administration Amendment Act 2023 commences.
In these regulations, the Guardianship and Administration Regulations 2017 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
