Tasmania regulation
These regulations update the Guardianship and Administration Regulations 2017 so they align with the Guardianship and Administration Amendment (Advance Care Directives) Act 2021 and take effect on the same day that Act commences. They incorporate the amendment text into the authorised 2017 regulations and are administered by the Department of Justice. The changes mainly affect people using advance care directives, guardians, administrators and legal practitioners by synchronising regulatory wording and commencement timing with the 2021 Act.

These regulations take effect on the day on which the Guardianship and Administration Amendment (Advance Care Directives) Act 2021 commences.
In these regulations, the Guardianship and Administration Regulations 2017 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
