### 48P Protection of health and medical research practitioner > > (1)  A health and medical research practitioner who conducts health and medical research in relation to a person under this Part does not incur any civil or criminal liability for the conduct of that health and medical research if it is done in good faith, without negligence and in the belief on reasonable grounds that the requirements of this Part are being complied with. > > > (2)  For the purposes of this section, a reference to the civil liability of a health and medical research practitioner includes a reference to liability arising under disciplinary, regulatory, administrative or similar proceedings. > > > (3)  Nothing in this section affects any duty of care owed by a health and medical research practitioner to a person.
