#### 95 Proceedings for offences 95 Proceedings for offences > > (1) Proceedings for an offence under this Act or the regulations may be dealt with— > > > > > (a) summarily before the Local Court, or > > > > > (b) by the Supreme Court in its summary jurisdiction. > > > (2) If proceedings are brought before the Local Court, the maximum pecuniary penalty that the court may impose for the offence is, despite any other provision of this Act, 200 penalty units. > > > (3) Despite the [Criminal Procedure Act 1986](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1986-209) or any other Act, proceedings for an offence under this Act or the regulations may be commenced not later than 2 years after the date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.
