#### 39 Offence to contravene certain provisions of code of practice 39 Offence to contravene certain provisions of code of practice > A person who contravenes a provision of the code of practice that is identified in the code as an “offence provision” is guilty of an offence under this section. > > Maximum penalty—1,000 penalty units in the case of a corporation and 200 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years, or both, in the case of an individual. > > Note. > > Failure to comply with other mandatory provisions of the code may lead to the taking of disciplinary action under this Act.
