Commonwealth legislation
This instrument exempts a single lamp model (GE Incandescent T30 40W rangehood globe, model 19762L) from the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Determination’s performance, labelling and related requirements, while requiring clear packaging and online labelling that the product is for use in rangehoods. It affects manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers who supply that model and matters because it temporarily changes their compliance obligations until 31 December 2026.
