Commonwealth legislation
This instrument temporarily exempts two specific incandescent sewing‑machine globe models from the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) requirements, changing compliance obligations for manufacturers, suppliers and retailers. The exemption requires clear "for use in sewing machines" labelling on packaging and online listings and expires on 31 December 2026, shifting disclosure duties and allowing continued supply of those models while avoiding Parts 3–5 of the Determination.
