Definitions

4 Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012.

Determination means the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Incandescent Lamps for General Lighting Services) Determination 2024.

Exemption

5 Exemption

The model specified in clause 1 of Schedule 1 (the exempt model) is exempt from the requirements of the Determination as described at clause 2 of Schedule 1 with respect to the supplies of the exempt model specified at clause 3 of Schedule 1.

6 Conditions of exemption

The conditions at clause 4 of the Schedule are specified for the purposes of subsection 37(2) of the Act.

7 Repeal

This instrument is repealed five years after the date of commencement.

3 Supplies to which the exemption applies

This exemption applies in relation to any supplies of the exempt model.

4 Specification of conditions of exemption

This exemption is subject to the following conditions:

Products of an exempt model that are offered for sale or sold must clearly and conspicuously display on the exterior of the packaging of those products that the product is for use in lava lamps;
Where products of an exempt model are offered for sale or sold online, the web page where the product is offered for sale or sold must clearly and conspicuously display that the product is for use in lava lamps.
