#### 62 Requirement for registrant to notify other persons of suspension or cancellation of registration (1) The registrant for a registration must take the action mentioned in subsection (2) as soon as practicable after the registrant is given notice of a suspension or cancellation of the registration under subsection 54(2) or section 165. (2) The registrant must take all reasonable steps to ensure that any person the registrant is aware might supply products of the models covered by the registration is informed of the suspension or cancellation. (3) The registrant is liable to a civil penalty if the registrant contravenes subsection (1). Civil penalty: 60 penalty units. > Note: It is generally not necessary to prove a person’s state of mind in proceedings for a contravention of a civil penalty provision (see section 94 of the Regulatory Powers Act).
