#### 165 Notification of decisions and review rights (1) As soon as practicable after making a reviewable decision, the person who made the decision must cause a written notice to be given to the person affected by the decision, containing: (a) the terms of the decision; and (b) the reasons for the decision; and (c) a statement setting out particulars of the person’s review rights. > Note 1: If the reviewable decision relates to an application under Part 5, the requirements under this subsection are in addition to those under section 67. > Note 2: A registrant or applicant for a registration is taken to have been given a notice under this Act if the notice is given to a contact person for the registration (see section 68). (2) A failure to comply with the requirements of subsection (1) in relation to a decision does not affect the validity of the decision.
