5 January 2021 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 23 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995 CITY OF GREATER GERALDTON PUBLIC PLACES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROPERTY LOCAL LAW 2020 Under the powers conferred on it by the Local Government Act 1995 and under all other enabling powers, the Council of the City of Greater Geraldton resolved on 24 November 2020 to make this local law. PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1.1 Title This is the City of Greater Geraldton Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2020. 1.2 Commencement This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. 1.3 Application This local law applies throughout the district. 1.4 Repeal and transitional provisions (1) The following local laws are repealed— (a) The Municipality of the Shire of Greenough By-laws Relating to Geraldton Airport published in the Government Gazette on 13 September 1985 and amended in the Government Gazette on
