8Accreditation of harvest fisheries

#### 8 Accreditation of harvest fisheries (1) The Authority may accredit a harvest fishery for the Zoning Plan by notice in the Gazette if it is satisfied that the management arrangements for the fishery under Queensland fisheries legislation provide a sound basis for an ecologically sustainable harvest fishery in an area that is part of, or includes a part of, the Marine Park. > Note: In the Zoning Plan, harvest fishery is defined in part as ‘… a fishery declared by the Regulations’. For the list of harvest fisheries, see regulation 16. (2) The Authority may revoke an accreditation by notice in the Gazette if it is satisfied that: (a) the management arrangements are no longer a sound basis for an ecologically sustainable fishery in an area that is part of, or includes a part of, the Marine Park; or (b) the compliance arrangements for the fishery are not adequate, or are not being adequately enforced.
