38DC Contravening order or direction: offence

(1) A person commits an offence if: (a) the Authority or another body gives the person an order or direction under the regulations; and (b) the order or direction is of a kind declared by the regulations to be an order or direction to which this section applies; and (c) the person engages in conduct; and (d) the conduct contravenes the order or direction.

Penalty: 500 penalty units.

(2) Absolute liability applies to paragraphs (1)(a) and (b).

(3) The fault element for paragraph (1)(d) is negligence.
