GOVERNOR-GENERAL’S ESTABLISHMENT.
No. 7 of 1902.
An Act relating to the Governor-General’s Establishment.
[Assented to 30th May, 1902.]
Preamble.
BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows :—
Short title.
1. This Act may be cited as the Governor- General’s Establishment Act 1902.
Allowance to Governor-General.
2. To assist in defraying the expenses of the Governor-General’s establishment in connexion with the visit to Australia of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York there shall be paid to him out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund an extraordinary allowance of Ten thousand pounds, and the Consolidated Revenue Fund is hereby appropriated accordingly for that purpose.
