#### 22 Authority may enter into agreements for use of Government telecommunications network 22 Authority may enter into agreements for use of Government telecommunications network > > (1) The Authority may enter into an agreement with any person or body (other than a government sector agency) for or with respect to the use by that person or body of any part of the Government telecommunications network. > > > (2) The Authority must not enter into an agreement under this section unless the Authority is satisfied the use of the Government telecommunications network under the agreement (having regard to any other agreements that may also have been entered into) will not prevent or interfere with the use of the network by a government sector agency. > > > (3) The power of the Authority under this section is subject to the requirements of the [Telecommunications Act 1997](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth relating to the rights of carriers licensed under that Act.
