#### 3 Definitions 3 Definitions > > (1) In this Regulation— > > > > agency head means— > > > > > (a) in relation to a Public Service employee—the head of the Public Service agency in which the employee is employed, or > > > > > (b) in relation to an employee of a government sector agency other than a Public Service agency—the head of that agency. > > > > Note. > > > > Section 3 of the Act provides that the head of any such government sector agency that is not a Public Service agency is the person who exercises employer functions in relation to the employees concerned.
