#### 22 Investigation of complaints 22 Investigation of complaints > > (1) If the Commissioner decides to investigate a complaint, the Commissioner must give notice to the complainant of the decision to investigate and must give notice to an agency of the Commissioner’s decision to investigate a complaint about the agency. > > > (2) The Commissioner may discontinue an investigation of a complaint at any time and is to give notice of the discontinuation of an investigation to the complainant and the agency concerned.
