9 Ownership of geothermal energy (1) The Territory owns geothermal energy contained in geothermal energy resources before the resources are extracted in accordance with a geothermal production lease. (2) A person who holds a geothermal production lease becomes the owner of geothermal energy resources and geothermal energy extracted in accordance with the lease.
