56 Application for acceptance of surrender (1) A geothermal authority holder may apply to the Minister to accept the surrender of: (a) the geothermal authority; or (b) part of the geothermal authority area. (2) The application must be accompanied by a report about the restoration and rehabilitation that has been, or is currently being, carried out in the relevant application area.
