sec.317 Power to require additional information

This section applies if— a person is required under this Act to give the Minister or the regulator a notice or copy of a document or information (the advice ); and the person gives the advice. The Minister or the regulator may, by notice, require the person to give, within the reasonable time stated in the notice, written information about the matter for which the advice was given. The person must comply with the notice. Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —300 penalty units. (sec.317-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person is required under this Act to give the Minister or the regulator a notice or copy of a document or information (the advice ); and the person gives the advice. (sec.317-ssec.2) The Minister or the regulator may, by notice, require the person to give, within the reasonable time stated in the notice, written information about the matter for which the advice was given.
