sec.271AF Giving of contravention notice
The regulator may give the proposed contravention notice if— the retailer has not complied with the warning notice; and after complying with section 271AE , the regulator still believes the contravention notice ought to be given. The contravention notice must state— that the retailer has contravened, or is contravening, section 175A ; or the contravention is likely to be a material contravention of the section. s 271AF ins 2014 No. 48 s 164 (sec.271AF-ssec.1) The regulator may give the proposed contravention notice if— the retailer has not complied with the warning notice; and after complying with section 271AE , the regulator still believes the contravention notice ought to be given. (sec.271AF-ssec.2) The contravention notice must state— that the retailer has contravened, or is contravening, section 175A ; or the contravention is likely to be a material contravention of the section.
