sec.270BA Required consultation
This section applies if the Minister proposes to make a distribution network code, unless the Minister considers the proposed code— is needed urgently; or will not be materially detrimental to anyone’s interests. Before the Minister makes the distribution network code, the Minister must prepare a draft of the code and consult with— entities the Minister is satisfied are likely to be affected by the proposed code; and entities representing gas consumers. s 270BA ins 2014 No. 48 s 153 (sec.270BA-ssec.1) This section applies if the Minister proposes to make a distribution network code, unless the Minister considers the proposed code— is needed urgently; or will not be materially detrimental to anyone’s interests. (sec.270BA-ssec.2) Before the Minister makes the distribution network code, the Minister must prepare a draft of the code and consult with— entities the Minister is satisfied are likely to be affected by the proposed code; and entities representing gas consumers.
