sec.145 Compensation from distributor to owner or occupier
This section applies if an owner or occupier of land (the claimant ) suffers a cost, damage or loss because of performance, or purported performance or the exercise, or purported exercise, of a function or power under this part by a distribution officer. Compensation for the cost, damage or loss is payable by the distributor to the claimant. The compensation may be claimed and ordered in a proceeding brought in a court of competent jurisdiction. (sec.145-ssec.1) This section applies if an owner or occupier of land (the claimant ) suffers a cost, damage or loss because of performance, or purported performance or the exercise, or purported exercise, of a function or power under this part by a distribution officer. (sec.145-ssec.2) Compensation for the cost, damage or loss is payable by the distributor to the claimant.
