#### 61 Compensation 61 Compensation > The network operator must pay compensation to the owner of any land in respect of which a power has been exercised under this Division by a gas industry inspector for any loss or damage arising from the exercise of the power, but is not so liable to the extent to which the loss or damage arises from work done for the purposes of an inspection which reveals that there has been a contravention by the owner of any provision of this Act or the regulations. > > **s 61:** Am 2025 No 21, Sch 1\[15\].
