70 Clearance of consumer piping
A gas-fitter carrying out gas-fitting work must ensure that the consumer piping connected to a licensee's meter assembly has a clearance of at least 30 millimetres from the meter casing or any device, component, or pipe, connected to the meter inlet.
Penalty: In the case of –
(a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units; or
(b) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
