This order formally creates a 25-metre planning corridor either side of specified sections of the Tas Gas Networks pipeline (with 25‑metre semicircular ends), locating the corridor by coordinates and by Plan 9752 (clause 4; Schedule 1). It takes effect when notified in the Gazette (clause 2). The corridor affects landowners, planners and the pipeline operator by placing those lands within a mapped planning control area that must be recognised in development and land-use decisions.
