#### 48 Inspection of documents evidencing prohibited conduct 48 Inspection of documents evidencing prohibited conduct > If the Secretary believes on reasonable grounds that there are in any place documents evidencing conduct in connection with— > > > (a) an electrical article or a gas appliance, or > > > (b) an electrical installation or a gas installation, or > > > (b1) an autogas installation, or > > > (c) a serious electrical accident or a serious gas accident, > > in contravention of this Act or the regulations, an authorised officer may, with the written authority of the Secretary, enter the place, inspect any documents and make copies of them or take extracts from them. > > **s 48:** Am 2020 No 25, Sch 7.2\[8\].
