#### 22 Certification of gas appliances 22 Certification of gas appliances > A person must not certify a gas appliance or type of gas appliance unless the person— > > > (a) is the holder of a certification authority, or > > > (b) is a person authorised by the holder of a certification authority to certify gas appliances on the holder’s behalf. > > Maximum penalty—500 penalty units in the case of a corporation and 250 penalty units in the case of an individual.
