81 Giving copy of certificate about approved technician or identity card (a) an approved supplier tells the commission, in writing, about the loss, theft or destruction of a certificate given to the supplier under section 80 (2) (a); or (b) an approved technician tells the commission, in writing, about the loss, theft or destruction of an identity card given to the technician under section 80 (2) (b). (2) The commission may, by written notice given to the supplier or technician, require the supplier or technician to give the commission, within a stated period and in a stated form, a statement confirming, and explaining the circumstances of, the loss, theft or destruction. (3) If the commission is satisfied that the certificate or identity card has been lost, stolen or destroyed, the commission may give a replacement to the supplier or technician.
