77 Ending short-term approvals (1) This section applies to a person if— (a) the person has a short-term approval as a technician; and (b) the commission receives the results of the police check of the person’s criminal record; and (c) after considering the results of the police check, the commission is satisfied that the person is not an eligible person. (2) The commission must, by written notice given to the technician— (a) refuse the person’s application for approval as a technician; and (b) cancel the person’s short-term approval as a technician.
