148B Club constitution—consistency with gaming laws (1) This section applies if the commission believes on reasonable grounds that— (a) a provision of a club’s constitution is inconsistent with a gaming law; or (b) a function under a provision of a club’s constitution would, if exercised, be inconsistent with a provision of a gaming law. (2) The commission must, in writing, direct the club to amend the constitution to remove the inconsistency.

(3) A club must comply with a direction under subsection (2) within the reasonable time stated in the direction.
