127W Storage permit—extension decision (1) This section applies if the commission receives an application under section 127V to extend the term of a storage permit for a general purpose. (a) extend the term of the storage permit; or (b) refuse to extend the term of the storage permit. (3) The commission must refuse to extend the term of the storage permit if, when the application is made, the storage permit has been in force for 3 years. (4) If the commission refuses to extend the term of the permit, the Note For what must be included in a statement of reasons, see the Legislation Act, s 179. (5) The commission may extend the term of the storage permit for a period not longer than 12 months.
