#### 2A Objects of Act 2A Objects of Act > The objects of this Act are as follows— > > > (a) to ensure the probity of public officials who are engaged in the administration of the gaming and liquor legislation, > > > (b) to ensure that the Authority and NICC are accessible and responsive to the needs of all persons and bodies who deal with the Authority, > > > (c) to promote fair and transparent decision-making under the gaming and liquor legislation, > > > (d) to require matters under the gaming and liquor legislation to be dealt with and decided in an informal and expeditious manner, > > > (e) to promote public confidence in— > > > > > (i) the Authority’s decision-making and in the conduct of its members and staff, and > > > > > (ii) the NICC’s decision-making and in the conduct of its Commissioners and staff. > > **s 2A:** Ins 2014 No 76, Sch 2 \[1\].
