#### 18 Purposes for which powers under Part may be exercised 18 Purposes for which powers under Part may be exercised > > (1) Powers may be exercised under this Part for the following purposes— > > > > > (a) for determining whether there has been compliance with or a contravention of the gaming and liquor legislation, > > > > > (b) for obtaining information or records for purposes connected with the administration of the gaming and liquor legislation, > > > > > (c) in connection with exercising the functions of an inspector under the gaming and liquor legislation, > > > > > (d) generally for administering the gaming and liquor legislation and promoting its objects. > > > (2) Without limiting subsection (1), powers may be exercised under this Part in relation to a casino for the purposes of— > > > > > (a) observing any of the operations of the casino, and > > > > > (b) determining whether the operation of a casino is being properly conducted, supervised and managed.
