15Objects of investment of the Fund

#### 15 Objects of investment of the Fund (1) The main object of the acquisition by the Board of a financial asset as an investment of the Fund is to enhance the ability of the Commonwealth to discharge unfunded superannuation liabilities as mentioned in paragraphs 2(1)(a) and (b) of Schedule 2. (2) The ancillary objects of the acquisition by the Board of a financial asset as an investment of the Fund are to enhance the ability of the Commonwealth and the Board to: (a) discharge liabilities, costs, expenses and obligations; and (b) make payments; as mentioned in paragraphs 2(1)(c) to (i), and paragraphs 2(2)(a) to (g), of Schedule 2.
