sec.74 Signing of training plan
When the parties have agreed to a training plan for an apprentice or trainee, they must sign it. The supervising registered training organisation for the apprentice or trainee must take all reasonable steps to ensure the apprentice’s or trainee’s training plan is signed— if the training plan is the initial training plan for the apprentice or trainee—within 3 months of the start of the apprenticeship or traineeship; or if a training plan for the apprentice or trainee has ended because the supervising registered training organisation has been replaced—within 28 days after the replacement of the supervising registered training organisation; or if a training plan for the apprentice or trainee has ended because of the permanent, temporary or statutory transfer of a registered training contract—within 28 days after the transfer of the contract. Maximum penalty for subsection (2) —50 penalty units. (sec.74-ssec.1) When the parties have agreed to a training plan for an apprentice or trainee, they must sign it.
