sec.70 Replacing supervising registered training organisation
If the parties to a registered training contract agree, they may replace the supervising registered training organisation for the apprentice or trainee with another registered training organisation. See also section 77 in relation to the effect on the apprentice’s or trainee’s training plan. If the supervising registered training organisation is to be replaced, the employer must— give the organisation a signed notice stating the day, no sooner than 14 days after the day the notice is given, when the replacement becomes effective; and at least 14 days before the replacement becomes effective, give the chief executive a signed notice stating the name of the new supervising registered training organisation for the apprentice or trainee. Maximum penalty—40 penalty units. Action to replace a supervising registered training organisation is of no effect if subsection (2) is contravened.
