sec.54 Apprenticeship or traineeship ends when nominal term ends
This section applies if the nominal term of a registered training contract ends and the apprentice or trainee has not completed all training and assessment required under the apprentice’s or trainee’s training plan. To remove any doubt, it is declared that the apprenticeship or traineeship ends when the nominal term ends. Section 23 provides for an application to extend the nominal term of a registered training contract. (sec.54-ssec.1) This section applies if the nominal term of a registered training contract ends and the apprentice or trainee has not completed all training and assessment required under the apprentice’s or trainee’s training plan. (sec.54-ssec.2) To remove any doubt, it is declared that the apprenticeship or traineeship ends when the nominal term ends.
